Travel to the 2026 Catholic Media Conference

The CMC Airport Shuttle Service is a limited charter option designed to reduce transfers, support travelers with luggage or mobility considerations, and help attendees arrive with sufficient time for conference activities.

To use the CMA shuttle service, we strongly encourage selecting flights that arrive at Philadelphia International Airport no later than 2:00 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, June 16. This is especially important for travelers flying from the Midwest and West Coast.

Shuttle schedule:

• Shuttle 1
  Pickup window: 10:45-11:30 a.m.
  Departure: 11:45 a.m.
  Estimated arrival at Harrah’s: 1:30-1:45 p.m.

• Shuttle 2
  Pickup window: 1:15-2:00 p.m.
  Departure: 2:15 p.m.
  Estimated arrival at Harrah’s: approximately 4:00 p.m.

Shuttles will depart promptly at the scheduled times and cannot be held for late arrivals.

Opening Mass will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16. Transportation to the church will depart Harrah’s at approximately 4:15 p.m. The shuttle schedule is designed to allow time for hotel check-in and preparation before Mass.

If your flight arrives after 2:30 p.m. Eastern, shuttle availability cannot be guaranteed. In these cases, please plan alternate transportation such as a rental car, rideshare service, or train.

Two shuttle departures from Harrah’s to Philadelphia International Airport are planned to accommodate a range of flight schedules.

• Early Shuttle
  Departs Harrah’s: 6:30 a.m.
  Estimated arrival at PHL: 8:00-8:15 a.m.
  Recommended for flights departing between 10:00 a.m. and noon

• Mid-Morning Shuttle
  Departs Harrah’s: 9:30 a.m.
  Estimated arrival at PHL: 11:00-11:15 a.m.
  Recommended for flights departing between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m.

Shuttles will depart promptly at the scheduled times and cannot be held for late departures.

Pricing:

Roundtrip CMA Airport Shuttle Service (PHL ↔ Harrah’s) is available for $65 per person. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

If you are flying American Airlines, you may see an itinerary option that includes a motorcoach segment operated through American’s Landline service. This option functions like a connecting flight, where one segment of your journey is a premium motorcoach between Atlantic City International Airport and Philadelphia.

• Book this option as a single American Airlines itinerary so the motorcoach appears as a connecting segment

• This can be a convenient alternative to arranging separate ground transportation

• Many travelers find this option smooth and straightforward

Availability and schedules vary, and this service is offered by American Airlines, not the Catholic Media Association.

This option can be cost-effective but involves multiple transfers and luggage handling.

From Philadelphia International Airport:

• Take the SEPTA Airport Line to Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station (about 25 minutes)

• Transfer to NJ TRANSIT’s Atlantic City Rail Line to the Atlantic City Rail Terminal (about 1 hour and 40 minutes)

• From the rail terminal, take a 10-12 minute taxi or rideshare to Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City

Total travel time is typically about 2½ to 3 hours, depending on connections.

• Take the Atlantic City Expressway for direct access into Atlantic City

• Harrah’s Resort offers onsite parking and valet service

• Allow extra travel time if arriving during peak shore traffic, particularly on Tuesday, June 16

Rideshare and taxi services are available from both PHL and ACY. Costs can vary significantly based on demand and time of day. If you arrive later than the CMA shuttle windows on Tuesday, this may be the most direct option.
